Peter Liem and Daniel Johnnes are pleased to present La Fête du Champagne, a celebration of the wines of Champagne.
La Fête du Champagne will feature a Grand Tasting of some of the top producers of Champagne, a series of highly-focused seminars presented by the industry’s leading experts, and a Gala Dinner prepared by a team of top chefs led by Chef Daniel Boulud, to which we invite guests to bring treasured bottles of Champagne to share with winemakers, like-minded collectors, and sommeliers.
Grand Tasting 11:00 am — 3:00 pm
Guests will enjoy a selection of wines from each attending producer for a total of nearly 100 different Champagnes which will accompanied by a selection of small plates from some of New York City’s top restaurants. Winemakers and top sommeliers will be on hand to present the wines and offer their insights.
Seminars 10:00 am — 3:00 pm
A number of different seminars will be staggered throughout the day. These highly focused tastings will feature lively discussions with attending producers and leading experts in the industry.
Gala Dinner 6:30 pm
This will be a formal, multi-course, and festive meal. The brigade of chefs led by Daniel Boulud will include Guenter Seeger and Abram Bissell of The Modern. In addition to enjoying special magnums provided by all attending producers, guests are invited to bring bottles of Champagne from their cellars to share with the room.
Tickets for La Fête du Champagne will go on sale later this summer.
